Project Description

The Ask : RVA Paddlesports is one of Richmond, VA's leading extreme river sports companies with an awesome, experienced, high energy team that is all about safety first then fun. They already had a great website designed that would be a foundation for the look and feel of the flyers.

The Situation : I trained to become a raft guide with RVA Paddlesports during the summer of 2015 and had a blast learning how to handle the RVA inner-city rapids... truly one of a kind. Patrick the owner of RVA Paddlesports knew that I was skilled in design so he asked that I redesign their company logo and a few flyers.

The Opportunity : There are competitors who have been around for a longer period of time, who's name may already hold the space of extreme river sports in the minds of locals. 

The Solution :Design a logo that reflected the logo that is embossed on the canal walls in downtown Richmond. Something that is already recognizable and speaks to the river.
