Learn how I’ve applied myself.

  • One can’t lead unless they are operating with a sense of context derived from a community… context for the world that surrounds us, the livelihoods endured by all forms of mankind on this planet, the environment experienced and observed in our beautiful, ever shifting and changing ecosystem.

As changes occur, a leader should be positioned within a network of knowledge and wisdom and supported by a foundation of consistent study. In this dynamic space, decisions can then be made through the use of the current state of factual data, trust and faith in ones own lucid intuition of the perceived nature, and organized practical mental models.

As a born Leo Sun, Gemini Moon and Scorpio Rising, the natural makeup of my elemental disposition for being a leader dawned upon me early.

In high school, I was chosen as captain of the soccer team for consecutive years, leading our team through many victories on the field.

I enjoyed academics — taking on several advanced placements and international baccalaureate courses. I felt the importance of pushing myself to gather a stronger understanding of the nature of reality and the systems developed by humanity to sustain an exceptional living.

In art school during my undergrad experience, I’d been granted an incumbency in an honorable merit studio where I developed extensive research into ancient cultures and contemporary art. I sought to challenge my capability as a leader by attempting to guide my viewers through a critique of complex abstract solutions on the canvases i’d painted over the course of many long nights. It was the first time I had displayed big picture thinking to an audience… and I was entranced by their curiosity to wonder with me - moving to places in conversation where new ideas would spark in our unity consciousness. I could see that my creativity was influential.

Soon after graduating from the Arts, I co-founded a creators' collective. It was built on taking the initiative as a brand for the community, one with a message to support creators, and give them more purpose for engaging with their respective communities. Our culture brought moments of empathy and compassion, moving creators to be more deeply involved in opportunities to display their craft and vision, adding value to their viewers collection of complex conversation-pieces, and forming long lasting bonds.

This recognition of my own purpose around that time after having found myself moving naturally in this way brought upon me the decision to be a leader by championing others’ craft. From then on, I would intentionally progress my skill at serving as a networker, working cross-functionally and deepening my understanding of what the world of creatives and clients need to grow and be successful.

The deeply talented students and wise professors whom I’d met while acquiring a M.S. in Business with a focus in Branding as a Creative Brand Manager from the VCU Brandcenter were my next challenge. Being there was to me an advanced central hub for incubating a more complete awareness of a diversity of thought.

This led to better calculations in collaboration - a stronger, more respective point of view, and confidence on the pitch to win a multitude of integrated marketing & advertising campaigns for our clients.

In 2020 after graduation, I took on a position of growing self-leadership by volunteering my time to teach the physical practice and philosophy of yoga to the Richmond, Virginia community. While broadening my scope of human connection, I was consecutively building the business model for the next space to win for clients who are looking to make an impact on the world. I founded Modern Ancients, a Brand Narrative Management Consultancy to continue evolving my practice of brand-led transformation by teaching the practice to my community.

I intend to work towards an understanding of what it means to be a leader, beyond great. I am continuing to hone my own intuition, inculcating more trust with clients and partners, and becoming agile in my approach.

  • A business partner of mine and I co-founded an artist’s collective called Function Artist Movement in 2012 after we both had graduated from university. As the Branding & Marketing Manager, I was keen to ignite the value I had observed in our creators which at the peak of our four years of operation, hosted thirty young artists spread along the East Coast, USA.

To further our audience’s understanding of our the artist’s unique personalities and how they approached working as artists in their respective communities - I went on adventure to visit each member, experiencing the culture that surrounded their lives.

By documenting the experience for social channel content creations, and organizing primary qualitative analysis of each artists process and personal identity, I was preparing to define the Function Artist Movement brand identity, and verbal branding to express this to a broader audience through digital.

With my research in the field directly with our creators and their communities, I developed strong insights that guided our 3-5 year marketing strategy.

Working together to build a strong voice and tone, we attracted an audience of over 5000 followers organically through our Facebook & Instagram channels.

For 4 years I built and managed an online culture and arts website. I collaborated with a small team of marketing creatives to promote and grow our community of 30 through 10 successful immersive cultural arts events in cities along the east coast. We empowered our communities to engage in creativity and networking that added value to their lives - with the help of the powerful expressions from our original creators. Several of the events sold out, with over 300 tickets purchased, by aligning and promoting partnerships between creators, local causes and brands.

The journey of working with aspiring creators to help them reach their potential was my first adventure as a start-up co-founder that I will never forget.

  • I am a believer in the shared power of individuals to influence the collective whole, and vice-versa. Once I realized this through experience, it became clear just how much that truth requires of one to be conscientiousness, and to take responsibility for their purpose on this planet.

I knew what i’d discovered required a balance of organization and practicality and so my inclination was to take on greater responsibility for the process of arriving at culturally and economically responsible creative executions. My goal today is to make holistic impact for the benefit of my clients.

In my early years, creativity was purely intuitive. Today, I balance creativity with scientific hypothesis and intuition.

I now see that it’s important to acquire information to instill as much depth of perception of reality and future potential as possible — to diversify my understanding by working closely with the peoples, cultures, societies, and economies that make up this world. Together, we can continue to create a better place for each other to thrive within.

As a Creative, Purpose-Driven Business Strategist, I believe I am perfectly positioned to create positive change through smart decision-making.

  • The response to my thesis, in partnership with Adobe’s Brand Marketing team, was an early example of how my work challenged cutting-edge imagination and innovation.

After 6 months of research, synthesis, and strategy in cooperation with Principle Marketing Manager Terry Henry & Enterprise Creative Director Matthew Rayback, I would find myself - somewhere in between a 4-way intersection of elite workplace well-being, transformative technologies and systems infrastructure, masterful Business-to-Everyone content creation and deeply rooted global cultural change.

Much of the thesis distilled in-depth research into Adobe’s branded service offering known as Adobe Sensei ( imagine the magic of their creativity and marketing products - everything that makes them work smoothly under the hood ), the brand messaging across the customer journey, company background, client use cases, the current customer perceptions of Machine Learning and A.I. for the case, and the culture of the worlds most innovative workplaces -- insight into one particular area became evident to me.

The advancements happening in this particular area of technology are coincidentally making humans more self aware of our natural bias across the collective conscious.

How could I use imagination to spark new light upon how we could be moving forward when it comes to bringing awareness around the product and its implications upon use for large enterprises?

I saw an opportunity to own the strategy to "Transform with Sensei Across all Dimensions", by positioning Adobe Sensei as 'The Spirit guide of Digital Transformation at Scale'.

The thought-provoking campaign provided examples of diverse educational and well-being programs available internally and for external community, making the corporate wellbeing initiative and Sensei an analogous topic to innovate through empowering opportunities for design thinking in the process of learning about the product — to form new, human-centric, ways of seeing the technology advancements in ML/AI that would serve as a preparatory stage in the growth of the company.

The future of adobe’s enterprise of digital and physical wellbeing has never been in better hands.

  • In 2017 after 10 years of casual practice, I became certified to teach Karuna (Compassion) Yoga.

Since then, my capacity to recognize mental and movement and position biases lends to the practice of being flexible between self and other.

By listening deeply, communicating with as much attention to my own perspective as I do to the expression of another's, my ability grew to guide others in recognizing and communicating their own authentic purpose in every moment.

I became more aware of my own daily habits in the most subtle sense, and the ways in which conversations and other systems designs moved through time.

I learned to slow down in my processes — just enough that I was behind a hair from the speed of the conscious world that moved around me, flexing the mind into the subconscious states that carry with it the deeper, more profound emotional states of awareness where white space is discovered.

From here, it becomes easier to be a catalyst for beyond great creative work that adds values to client’s businesses and world economies.

Am I challenging my own orthodoxies?

As the world continues to experience the integrating of external technologies - their bodies and minds need to be flexible to adjust to the new ways of working. The sooner we accept it, that is - the further we predict the capability and opportunities for awakened creativity by exploring the depth of the moment - the healthier we will remain by preparing ourselves to unlock new value as we move on this global strategy for change, led by the development of hundreds of thousands of new business entities entering the marketplace every day. It’s all happening for the best, and all of the answers to the challenges we face are being answered through this spiritual transformation and physical integration.

  • I have a passion for traveling to experience the uniqueness and similarities of culture around the world. Observing people living in their moment is a beautiful thing to wonder about.

I love to take my understanding of what i’ve experienced about others, and ask myself why. This query takes me on a journey. I believe this is the most impactful way I’ve learned so far to expand on an ever-growing breadth and depth of knowledge and wisdom that will help to define reality as it was as a foundation for predicting and scoping for future potentials.

With the external environmental pressure of the exponentially growing space of technology, my passion for travel has not only moved me to travel physically, it has also changed the way that I work with the internet.

The internet is another way I travel the world to uncover the forces that create change for businesses.

I am obsessed with analyzing texts and watching video content from experts to gather a stronger understanding of the language of design and the design of language to uncover the threads that spark a revolution in tightly knit systems of operational governance.

As I become more aware of how to traverse the endless void of multidimensional consciousness, I intend for my clients to receive more meaning and value out of what they need to remain forever-proof.
