Project Description

The Ask:

Develop internal communications and marketing content aligned with the International Brand HFH for the ‘Double the Homes, Double the Hope’ campaign.

The Situation:

Habitat for Humanity Virginia was preparing for a 3-5 year campaign to raise 100M to build 100 more new homes a year.

The Opportunity:

This campaign was incubated with the intention of piloting the work as a larger campaign that brings Double the Homes Double the Hope across the states after its success in Virginia. We needed to communicate to all 42 affiliates the value and message of the campaign while remaining aligned to the international brand vision in order to prepare everyone to join HQ in building relationships with Virginia’s richest donors.

The Solution:

I attended strategy meetings, made suggestions to align branding on the website and in affiliate presentation decks, crafted an email blast to send to affiliates, creative directed a campaign proposal video detailing the vision, mission, and process, and I spoke at the Norfolk HFH meeting to gain buy-in for one of Virginias’ largest affiliate companies.
